Description

Strong aurora activity was predicted at dusk on May 2nd.
So I set up the photography equipment since the sky was clear.
Suddenly, a fast-moving object appeared in the eastern sky, seemingly traveling in its own cloud.
I didn't know what that was. Until @Łukasz Żak  posted his picture https://www.astrobin.com/6hecm0/ and described it as Falcon 9.
The video consists of 12 individual images, each exposed for 10 seconds at F 3.5 and ISO 1000. The video was created with Microsoft Clipchamp.
The rocket flew over southern Bavaria on May 2, 2024 at 20:51 UTC, coming from the east to the northwest.
The individual images are displayed for 2 seconds, so the overflight in real time took 5 times longer.
